Using BookHoot
BookHoot is intended to support private reading practice for children with a parent or guardian. Use the app lawfully, respectfully, and only in a way that matches its intended family reading purpose.
Parents and Guardians
A parent or guardian should complete setup, manage the parent PIN, supervise child use, and avoid entering sensitive child information into the app.
Reviews and Book Notes
BookHoot may let children create private reviews, book notes, reading progress, and quiz responses. This content is synchronized within the parent-owned family account. Parents can review, approve, hide, delete, export, or reset it through Grown-Up Controls.
Availability and Changes
BookHoot may change over time. Features may be added, changed, or removed. The app is provided as available, and no reading outcome is guaranteed.
